New York police detective Sara Pezzini was just doing her job: saving her partner's life. Too bad in doing so she was forced to bond with the Witchblade: a mystical and ancient weapon of immense power. Over the years Sara has had to balance her police work and the heritage of being a bearer of the Witchblade. The Witchblade has had many Bearers over the millennium. Will Sara always wield it? Or is there a new Bearer on the horizon?
